The problem your describing is typical of our site's PacMan game. Whenever we play it; we really have to be in the mood to play. Or stubborn....
Typical scenario before we finally get the game going is something like this: You try to load the game and press "p" to play and nothing happens, press "p" again. Nothing.... Stay cool. Wait. Patient. Press "p." Again nothing. Just for kicks press "p" again and for no conceivable reason this time it works. The game has always done this. Don't know what the problem is. Assuming that the biggest part of the problem is the size of the game; largest java game on our site. But if this is only reason it is so funny... I honestly don't know. Hoping to eventually stumble over a better version to add to OnTheCheese.Com Billiard's Arcade.
I'm not a programmer or java script or java applet expert so don't have a clue of how to tweak it out to make it work better. I leave it on the site because my husband's younger cousin loves it. And since the arcade is not the major feature of this site simply a +PLUS...
OTC is a Billiards Site full of resources specifically targeted to (but not restricted to) 9 ball fanatics of southeastern United States and in particular Raleigh NC and surrounding areas.
So the game remains as is for my husband's younger cousin and others who know the "trick" to get it working and enjoy playing it for hours on end anyway.
